Very anticimatic transfer deadline day, A small part of me wanted a glamour signing lik Aguero to come to the Bridge, But its hard to see where he would fit in with Anelka and Drogba.

Perhaps, but he's young and they are old. Point is that noone signed Aguero which means he wasn't really available in this window, and transfers like that take months to organise properly. Theoretically they could all play together, because all of them come deep or go out wide during the course of a game. Aguero wouldn't be any more of a liability at the head of the diamond than Joe Cole for instance.

Terry dropped as england captain then.
Proof the tabloids are more enamoured with selling papers than any on field success.
How was his " affair" going to destroy team spirit, what a pathetic excuse, why do england need everything to be "perfect"
Pretty much every successful team has factions and divides, usually forgotten when the national anthem plays, but not with england.....WAGS, gambling debts and affairs seem to be excuses all the time.
Argentina in late 70's early 80's ....team split into pro junta and anti junta divides, still won the world cup.
Brazil have it every year, players from the south Guacho regions vs the poorer players from Carioca, and Sao Paulo states.
Hell Dunga HATES Ronaldinhio since his playing days, yet will probably recall him, they seem to be able to put these things aside for the sake of winning
Spain have catalonia/castellon dividess all the time. they still won in 2010.
Why do England place so much importance on the captaincy anyways? its like they want to use it as an excuse. I didnt see Casillas barking out any orders or making any team adjustments when Spain won the euros.
Rio as captain? dont make me laugh, the guy cant tie his own shoelaces.

Another win for City against Bolton. Not a great performance but 3 points is 3 points. Have to play better when we face Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea in the next 2 - 3 weeks.

Well happy as hell Chelsea won (Or any other team apart from Man Utd), was getting a bit nervous but in the end it was easy specially once Wigan had a player sent off.
Hopefully they can do the double this year, looks good. Glad Man Utd didnt win much, yeah they won that other cup but previously Ferguson never was bothered about the carling cup, funny how he takes it more seriously once hes under pressure in the league/FA cup.

Well we can't win it every year
. Nice to see a team finally win a Championship after spending so much money. League Cup only got serious when we played the Bitters. All that money and they still win knowt.
City never miss an oppertunity to miss an opertunity!!!
