I'll be interested to hear what he thinks of PFT now.  They mentioned one of his articles the other day and he was named.

Again the guy knows a ton of stuff, clever bloke when it comes to the NFL but its either his way or nothing, hes right, everyone else cant even have an opinion.  True internet rambo.

The mods on NFLUK are bad.  Monie got quite a big ban during the whole RaiderDave thing a while back, then of course there was the 'knife' incident which (was it Vann ?) was rightly banned, but Monie should have got a bigger ban.  Like the US system, 3 strikes and youre out, or every ban it goes on for longer.

Again i know being a mod is difficult but its a joke at the moment, when the SAME person has been warned/suspended multiple times then SURELY they have to be more strict so he realises not to act like a c0ck over and over.

It'll happen again, he'll have another argument and get a 5 minute ban from Paul33 or something.

I did go there the other day to have a quick nose, that Broncos Tebow fan is a lunatic

I'm glad i've stuck around here, felt bad before for just coming here for a brief time and then going back to NFLUK.

At the end of the day i just want to talk about the Raiders, hearing some 17 year old idiot come along with 'raiderz suck' etc is just dull.

I do miss all the moans though about Sky and its presenters, the Ch5 presenter etc and the tie Kevin is wearing that week or something !

We're glad you have stuck around too. There is nothing preventing you starting a thread relating to Kevin's ties or moaning about the presenters. I'm sure others will have something to say as well.

Yep, I think this is where I'll stay as well. We need to keep an eye out on NFLUK for other silver and black fans and let them know this place exists though.

People will always come and go and come back again.  That is the beauty of the internet    I enjoy having more people around as a lot more gets discussed and vibrant and happy forums are good forums that puts smiles on people's faces. 

We maybe small but at least we are one that can moan, groan, laugh and joke about all things Raiders without having to go near a Donks fan

I was only joking, i dont mind the presenters.  You'll never get one person who is perfect (Must admit Gary Imlach was close !), but being an old fuddy duddy i remember the old days of shocking presenters (John Smith, Vicious Boys, Mike Luckhurst who i liked but wasnt great).

I dont watch tons on Sky, mostly the playoffs but whenever its Nick/Kevin etc its just a good time to make some food or pop to the loo !

I personally like Nick Halling a lot, hes 'one of us' and has been involved with the NFL in the UK for yearsssss, hes not some 'i just want a presenting job' like many others we've had in the past (Colin Murphy).  People seem to get upset the minute he has a dodgy tie on, has a centre parting or mentions prawn sandwiches, ridiculous !

Have to say that I have never been too keen on Kevin and I started off disliking Nick. But despite his dodgy wardrobe he has grown on me. There is no doubt he knows his stuff and he is the only Brit I know of that can do a proper play by play.

I remember the early days of Channel 4's coverage and especially Frank Gifford. As for the rest, some were only memorable because of how bad they were.

I don't like Kevin in the anchor role, but when he actually talks about the game and givesm his opinion, he's very good.
