Thing is that I got to pay BT 120 pounds for the installation; and that just for a phone...now BT have a deal where you get broadband and phone; you only pay 50 pounds for the installation...

Not really sure on the Talk Talk deal; but I bet you still need to have BT line; so before I even join anybody, I still got to pay out 120 pounds for installation...

Anyway; waited all morning and no Cable guy has show up yet! Virgin service is really atrocious

That could be the reason why you are having problems with slow speeds.  If you do change and ask for the mac, please, please I beg you do NOT go with BT.  They can be even worse and their hubs are fooking aweful.  I have friends that are offline atm and cannot figure out why.

I'm sure you would hear bad experiences of all companies out there.  I nearly went with Talk Talk as it was free but contacting them was a 'mare and it wasnt as good as advertised.

I've been with BT for years, the homehub has been great, any problems i've had in the past i must admit the India call centre was surprisingly good.

I work at home so i have to have a good connection (Hence i didnt go with the freebie one from Carphone Warehouse) and BT has been excellent.  I'm sure other people might have had problems but i've been with BT for years now and its been great.

Nah i'm the same !  If my internet went down before the NFL season i'll be gutted.  Wait all that time and then it doesnt work !

Thats why i was annoyed as anything last year when the first week of gamepass was dire (and the second week) before it finally came good

My worst moment last year was driving down to my parents (had to be in Brighton the next day with work) and putting on my laptop to watch the archived Raiders game, wasnt paying attention and didnt realise it was still on.  Clicked on Pittsburgh vs Oakland and there was the score with 25 seconds left !  I missed out on that amazing game, gutted.  Not the same re-watching it when you know the score

Well this year I am going to pay for a backup plan; as you said a new company is taking over the NFL Online; so if the game crashes on gamepass, I can go to the illegal stream.

I did the illegal stream i think for a season.  Wasnt bad but damn when you lost connection it was a pain trying to get that sorted again

I know gamepass is pricey but i just love it, think back to the old days of the odd game on Sky or listening to fieldpass all the time.  Amazing seeing every game.

Do miss Greg Papas though, he was superb on fieldpass.

Well this website   http://live247.tv/vai/      is only asking 10 dollars a month; and it look like they are going to show all the NFL preseason games; I mean they were asking a fortune then I say no; but it is cheap....

I am still going to get gamepass; but I like a backup plan

I would like to see the preseason games IF they were on some sort of archive thing like NFL Gamepass.  But its preseason, even though after months of no football i'm excited to see it, when i've seen games in the past theyre very dull.

I'm saving up my brownie points with 'er indoors' for the whole NFL season, after seeing every world cup game i wont push it and tell her i'm staying in saturday night as i have to watch a meaningless preseason game at 9pm etc !

One of the main problem with the preseason game is they are live; and kickoff at 2am or around that time; Raiders; Playoff games maybe, and Superbowls,  I would stay up that late but for any other games, no.

You can probably put "No Monie "as #1 .

Yesterday his bufoonery caused the RIP Tatum thread to get locked over on NFLuk.com.  Roll Eyes

Cant wait for the season to start so we can talk raiders here, I cant even wait for the first PS game.

Will gamepass show PS games? and if so only live or delayed as well? ie with archive.

In the USA they announced some kinda deal last week, all preseason games for $40 or something, I doubt we get it though.

Its only $4 for a week, might be worth checking out.

All this stuff adds up for me, ISP , BT line, espn college pass, nfl gamepass, espn on tv, sky sports ( which I probably wont get till the playoffs, as the raiders have no national tv games )

It cheap;  I will be joining up and see how the new website is doing; they should have sorted most of the bugs out.

I mean if you don't have the money to watch the NFL; it the next best option....

And don't have to get Sky to watch the NFL playoffs...
