umm not sure - need to give it some thought....maybe some milestones x amount of posts prior to the draft x amount before season starts. x amount at the end......

the only danger with that is people may just post shite to bolster their post count....bit like me really

We  may get some like that, but if we gain more committede support through it,  it will be good.

Personally, I'm only here for crack at the jersey!  Roll Eyes

Count me in, with or without the prize, I love fantasy football. I run one at work, and a baseball league, so I'm more than happy to help/organise this years. I don't like the NFL one, the playoff system is rubbish, and while Yahoo is great you need to pay to get as-live updates. I have done a few on ESPN and they are excellent, also if we got a lot of beginners then there is a site called fleaflicker which is pretty good as it gives help on what players to draft if we went the live draft route.

I've used the espn one for a few years now and I find it a good one.

I like ESPN as well. If anybody hasn't tried it, you can do a mock draft now, just follow the link below. A bit early, but it is fun.

if the consensus is espn we could try that one...though there is no harm in having more than one. I did try that once and it was a mare updating.

I'm more than happy to play in more than one league, maybe include a keeper league as one of them?

I'm guessing a keeper league is where established players get to designate players they want to keep hold of into the next season- bit like a franchise tag!! It rewards longevity and makes us new fellas earn it.

I'd be up for it.

 Cool

Yeah, a keeper league is where you keep the players that you draft this year for future years. At the start of the 2010 season you then just have a draft of about three rounds that contains all the rookies from next years draft. To be honest you can set the league up to keep any number of players from this years draft from one or two up to all of them.

I don't know if the terms are used differently where you guys are.  But over here in the States a keeper league is one where a certain number of the guys on your team can be retained and the rest go into the draft.  A dynasty league is where you keep everyone from season to season, with a rookie draft and of course trades.  Hope I'm helpful.

Count me in. I've been playing 20 years or so. Run my own league. BC has all the ability and knowhow also if you need help with the set up, or running of it.
