Damn even my negative comments (which normally means the opposite) didnt work.

To be honest how many of us thought we would win this game at 9pm ?  Gutted though, GREAT first half.  Second half was the same, defense getting tired, offense doing nothing.

Glad to see Russell throw it a fair few times.  We had some very huge plays though, the int was huge, the td called back was huge and Miler stumbling in the end zone seemed a huge play, could have been a td.  Even the safety was a huge play as the ball bounced straight to Rivers.  I know its coulda, shoulda, woulda etc but we showed a lot of promise against one of the top AFC teams.

Agree with the commentator about a lot of positives though, 'some' of the play calling was bad specially in the 3Q but again a great first half.  161 yards in the first half passing, then we had i think 13 in the 3Q !

Have to say that I didn't think that we had much of a chance. But there is always that possibility and they way they started it built up my hopes and expectations. And as has been usual, they were not to be fulfilled. We are still creating opportunities but just can't play in the 4th quarter. They did try to open it out a bit and ther was some success, so there are signs that they could get a lot better.

Yeah the last two losses are frustrating, big time, we could actually be 3-1 instead of 1-3 which would have been superb BUT on the other hand we played the Bills who this year are one of the top teams in the AFC and made them look ordinary for 3 quarters, same with San Diego who i know are 2-2 but theyre a quality side and will be in the playoffs.

If we were losing these games to the likes of Cincy or Kansas City then i would be gutted.  I thought we went into reverse a bit in the 3Q, yeah Ryan might get tons of blame but as the commentators said SD had one huge drive of 7 minutes to open the 3Q, we then went 3 and out and then the defense was back on the field.

Play calling apart from the 3Q was great, Russell made some great passes, he was so hot in that first half that was very exciting to see, superb figures.  Nice late drive to tie up the game but all the 'could have's' are frustrating, his pass late to Miller was on target but Miller had stumbled.

Much more to be positive about but away at the Saints is gonna be very tough.  Plus Raiders having a bye is obviously good for the team, unsure what i'll do !  Have to talk to the wife or something on a sunday night now ! Wink

Totally gutted about our record but watching the Raiders game live on the net is flipping superb, the emotions you go through, the anticipation before the game, then its like youre so happy when Oaklands winning but then is back to a low when times are bad (normally in the 4Q !).   Do enjoy watching every game though despite our poor record the last few years

We certainly need the bye week to hopefully get some of the injuries sorted out. Don't have the resources to get to view the games at the moment but listening to them on the radio and keeping a check on the game through NFL.com will have to do for the mo.

We had the same/similar problem last season in not being able to maintain the level of play through 4 quarters. It is so frstrating to watch a lead disappear late in the game and not be able to respond effectively.

One 'tiny' positive is at least we're in these games for 3 quarters, past years we were facing a loss after the 1Q Wink

Only wish that the 3 quarters were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
